Where will you officiate weddings?
Anywhere within the state of New Jersey. Weddings in the Cape May County area are however less expensive since I actually live here year round and travel time, gas, and tolls are not a factor in my pricing.

Whatever ceremony would best meet your needs and situation from Civil to Interfaith and even Handfastings. Together we can decide the perfect service for you. All paths are equal and accepted.
How do we hire you?

If you call me and leave a voicemail be sure your message is clear so I can call you back. I require a deposit of $50 to hold the date. I accept a personal check, money order , or cash. The balance is due the day of the wedding with the exception of personal check which must be paid 2 weeks prior to the wedding. Many people prefer to pay sooner to avoid the hassle on their wedding day. I don't have a problem with payment in full prior to the event or given at rehearsal if you'd like.
Will you attend the rehearsal/should we have a rehearsal?
The rehearsal is a very important part of your experience. It normally will make you and your wedding participants more comfortable on your wedding day. But that decision is up to you and should be made when booking my services. If you have a rehearsal I will do everything in my power to attend. (There is an additional charge for my attendance.) I will take the role that is needed as each couples needs are different from merely being aware of what is going on to coordinating the processional/recessional at the rehearsal.
What do I need the day of the ceremony?
You need the marriage license, two witnesses, rings(if you are exchanging rings), and yourselves. Depending on what type of ceremony you have chosen you may need candles, sand, roses, a table, etc. Any of these items can be provided for an additional fee.
What happens after the ceremony?
I will be available for a picture or two if your photographer did not get the perfect photo of your ceremony. I have been known to take pictures of the couple after the ceremony if need be. I will assist your witnesses in the paperwork for accuracy. I will then mail your license to the township clerk where you got married within the necessary 5 days and my copy will always be kept on file if needed. You obtain your Marriage Certificate from the municipality after the processing period.
How far in advance should I book you?
Many couples book a year or 2 in advance. Often I have requests for the same date and similar times which is why the non-refundable deposit is so important.It is for your protection as well as mine. If you tell me you are sending a deposit I will hold that date for that week while I await the mail arrival. I will let you know when I receive it. If you forget to mail it please let me know you did so I know when to expect it and to hold that date for you.
Are last minute requests okay?
Yes, as long as I have availability I will take last minute requests. I have sample ceremonies ready for quick and easy decisions as well.
Does our religious status matter?
No, I believe all paths lead to the same destination. Your ceremony should reflect you as a couple whether that is routed in religious or love symbolism is entirely up to you. I, myself, do not force my beliefs on others. I am a Spiritual person who believes this is a personal decision and the wording you choose in your ceremony should reflect meaningful vows to each person entering into the marriage covenant.
Can we write our own vows?
Of course, you can select from the many samples I send you or completely write your own from scratch. Again, it is not about me so I will not get offended if you do not choose a sample I send you. Let the ceremony speak to you as a couple.
What rentals do you offer?
I have exclusive rental pricing that can be included with my services. Arbors, arches, table, sand ceremony kits, chairs, and signs. All rental requests go through me to John, the event specialist, so please convey your rentals early on to ensure availability for his services that require setup/tear down. Additional decorations and accents can be added to your specifications...just ask.
How do I book rentals?
The total of the rentals requested require a 50% non-refundable deposit. For your convenience you can include this with your deposit for your ceremony.
